@Seashore Point, parking on Winslow Street behind the Monument
The U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark ruling against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) has made strategies for financial planning for same sex couples even more important than ever.  Stuart Armstrong II, CFP®, CLU®, ADPASM, CLTC, a Board Member of both Pride Planners, (www.PridePlanners.org) a national organization of specialists working with the LGBT market, and the national board of directors for Financial Planning Association, (www.fpanet.org), presents an overview of:

• New complexities and opportunities in same sex couple income tax filing

• Changes in estate planning and gifting strategies with a discussion on new planning strategies that were previously unavailable to same-sex couples

• New opportunities for same-sex couples to take advantage of retirement income strategies and survivor planning because of the demise of DOMA.
